I've officially started my reading challenge today, my goal is to read 30 books in 2017. I pledged to so over at Goodreads. In addition to that
sugar_cherries posted about this awesome reading challenge she plans to do and I decided to join in. That way I can find my next book and do both challenges at the same time.
My first book ticks the collection of short stories box and is one I've been wanting to read. My friend K got it for me as a birthday present, and gives me the perfect opportunity to go through the pile of unread books I have.

The Girl on the Fridge by Etgar Keret is a collection of his best short stories. It's less than 200 pages and each story appears to be an easy and quick read. Also, I love the cover. I first encountered Keret's work when I picked up Kneller's Happy Campers and I was pleasantly surprised when I couldn't put it down until I reached the last page. This novella was the inspiration for the movie Wristcutters: A Love Story which became one of my favorites. So I have high expectations for The Girl on the Fridge, we'll see once I finish it.
