As a woman, the child of a Latina, sister of a LGBTQ+, with a learning disability and anxiety, I'm deeply saddened by tonight's results, because for months I listened to this man spew out hate against everything I am and more. Just goes to show how we refuse to accept the world's changed and we want to erase it.

I just saw a post on Facebook that if only Millennials had voted he wouldn't have won. Apparently mostly older, white people voted for him. I can't understand it

Yeah, it's hard to wrap your head around it, your description of who voted for him is so accurate. I saw a map on Facebook about the millenial vote, and at least it gives me comfort that my generation is against him.

I saw that map, too, and was like "oh, it's like Brexit all over again. Young people know how it's done but older people fuck it all up." I mean, sure, not every old, white man or woman is stupid but most of them are.

And for me, here in Germany, it's so hard to realize that just because Hillary did have more votes, she lost in the end. Because here the party with the most votes wins

I couldn't sleep last night cause I am a Bisexal Jewish, Leaarning Disabled, Woman. I was terrified of what could happen to me.

But as I keep saying as a broken record, Trump and his followers wants us to be afraid. He wants the Milenials to be afraid. But we're not going to have it.

I am still going to go to Temple, Im still going to go to temple, I will not be someone's object and I will love who god gives me. I am going to be okay so will you lots of love.

No, I think you're right. Fear is one of the biggest weapons of control, and we can't let it win, we still have our voices and can be heard.

Wow. People are truly panicking 😔 And I supposed I'm a bit scared too because of the hats that's been aimed towards who I am as a person. But I'm choosing not let fear take over me.

That being said, even before the election I've wanted to go to Sweden.

Well I can tell you, I have no hope for the USA getting any BETTER. Not like it's ever been all that great — in regards to treating its citizens (employees, enemies etc) like actual human beings... It's just that it treats the rest of the world even worse so....

The people I blocked weren't really friends not anymore at least, I'm glad now I don't have to see their posts, I can do without their tasteless jokes. Thankfully I have my family and friends who like myself are kids of immigrants (most of us are anyway) and are deeply saddened by this and what it means, the future is uncertain.

I believe we need empathy and be kind to one another, more than ever.

I understand how you feel, it's scary to think hate can win. Right now I'm tired, and a bit mad because of the people who believe we are ridiculous for feeling scared and should grow up, I don't think they see the big picture and if they do they're chosing to remain ignorant.
