TV SHOWS

Which TV shows did you start watching in 2016? Shadowhunters, Narcos, Supergirl, The Exorcist, Stranger Things, Black Mirror, Luke Cage, The Crown, Skam, Son of Zorn, Mozart in the Jungle.

Which TV shows did you let go of in 2016? Gotham, I was way behind and I don't think I'll catch up any time soon. Maybe in the future I will. And Arrow, idk, I've been bored the last few times I tried to watch.

Which TV shows did you mean to get into but didn't in 2016? Why? Westworld but I haven't had the chance, though I think it's binge-watching material. I'm better at watching shows in one sit than keeping up with them week after week anyway. Also Timeless, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Lucifer, Priest and Master of None. I need more time.

Which TV shows do you intend on checking out in 2017? Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, I might re-read the books in preparation. Iron Fist and The Defenders, OMG I can't wait! I also want to watch The Handmaid's Tale, looks awesome. And American Gods.

Which TV show impressed you least in 2016? Agents of SHIELD I've tried so many times to get into it but for some reason I just can't. And I still have to figure out what was happening with American Horror Story xD

Which TV show do you think you might let go of in 2017 unless things significantly improve? I'm thinking of quitting The Walking Dead and Game of Thrones, though I always end up watching GoT in the end.

Which TV shows do you think you'll never let go of no matter how crappy they get? Why?
Supernatural hahahha that's the one show I can't quit no matter what.





FANDOMS

Your main fandom of the year? Umm, I think it's a 3 way tie between DC, Marvel/MCU and Merlin (BBC), because I created more content (fanfic, fanart, etc) for those fandoms than any others.


Your favorite film you watched this year? Oh man, I'm gonna go with Deadpool, I waited so long to see Wade in the big screen and it did not disappoint.

Your favorite book read this year? Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benjamin Alire Sáenz.

Your favorite album or song to listen to this year? The Weeknd's Starboy, I'm obsessed with the album.

Your favorite TV show(s) of the year? Stranger Things and The Exorcist.

Your best new fandom discovery of the year?
Shadowhunters, Yuri!!! on Ice, Supergirl, Stranger Things...I feel I'm missing some.

Your fandom that made an unexpected comeback this year? None, I think.

Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year? I guess Batman v. Superman I expected more but at the same time I liked it, especially Wonder Woman <3 hope her solo film is better.

Your fandom boyfriend(s) of the year? Hahahah I don't think I've thought about having fandom bfs. But if I had to choose I'd go with Cisco (The Flash). Oh, I know. Mr. Darcy always and forever.

ETA: I was so wrong and it suddenly came to me, I do have a fandom bf: Michael Cordero from Jane the Virgin.


Your biggest squee moment of the year? This one!!

The most missed of your old fandoms? I had missed the Inception fandom but then I made art for the reverse bang and it was all good in the world :D

The fandom you haven't tried yet, but want to?
I want to try the James Bond, Man from UNCLE, and Kingsman fandoms.

Your biggest fan anticipations for the coming year?
Wonder Woman, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Thor: Ragnarok, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Justice League, Beauty and the Beast and I guess I'm a bit excited about Logan. When it comes to TV shows I'm very excited about American Gods and The Defenders I sooooo want to see Danny and Luke. Yeah, I ship them *scurries away*.

I still need to watch Batman v Superman. I really have no interest, except for the Justice League members that are in it so I'll have to watch it for that. I think I keep putting it off because it's such a long movie.

So many good movies coming out next year! :D

I feel like it's not as bad as people make it out to be, there were a few cool things. But yes, it's sooo long and certainly feels that way. The Justice League movies looks way better though, I hope I'm not wrong.

I'm actually super excited for The Handmaiden's Tale! I heard that Hulu's other shows were great, even though I didn't watch them, but I liked The Handmaiden's Tale a lot when I read it, so hopefully it'll be good to watch too!

I could totally see how one would want to binge Westworld, but it's so intense! I would just have to stop after a few cause it's a lot to take in haha. I binge comedies much easier.

Me neither, I was curious about The Path but then I never watched it. Me too, I have high hopes about it, I hope I like it as much as the book.

It's that intense? 😱 I might take it easy then once I have time to watch it.

Wasn't "Stranger Things" just great? At first I was skeptical if I should check it out, seeing as I am totally not a sci-fi person but then pretty much everyone of my friends just raved about it so I decided to check it out and was hooked. I cannot wait for the second season!
"The Crown" is another show I plan on checking out when I have time...I can't watch so many shows at once, like many people seem to be able to. *blushes*

OMG "American Gods", I almost forgot that this is coming! My friend got me into the book last year, which I thought was fab, and the show looks like it's gonna be amazing too <3

The 6th season of GoT will be airing here in January or February...German TV is always so far behind D:

I also got into The Weeknd this year...not much of a fan of the lyrics of "The Hills" (I think that's the title?) wherein he talks about "friend zones" (I don't like that concept), BUT all in all I love his music and I'm not gonna NOT listen to it because I don't like one line xD

Omg, I loved Stranger Things, I told myself I was only watching one episode and suddenly it was 3am and I had finished the show already xD I was shocked I couldn't stop watching but it was awesome, it was everything I like.
The Crown is still in my queue. I find it easier to binge watch sometimes because I do get bored waiting for a new episode each week.

Isn't it? I love the book and I got even more excited about American Gods over the summer watching the preview at comic con. I can't wait!

Hahahahha same tbh, sometimes I'm not crazy about his lyrics but I love his voice and the new album is amazing. It's not often I listen every song without skipping forward.
