🌟 Compared to where I was a week ago I can say I'm getting better. My anxiety has gone down and I'm feeling calmer--not so paranoid anymore. I think it has a lot to do with me not obsessively reading the news, blocking awful people on FB, going out, writing and having my dose of anxiolytics adjusted. I'm sleeping a bit more, huge help honestly. Finally feel more like myself than I felt in weeks ☺️

🏥 On Friday I got x-rays done again, and I can happily say that my ribs are finally okay! (Back in November I fractured them and it's been a slow recovery). I was told to take it slow and be more careful lol

🎟 Watched La La Land last week and I really, really liked it, Emma and Ryan have incredible chemistry and I'm obsessed with the soundtrack. Plus, the geek in me loved spotting the references to other musicals, it was a sure way to get to my heart. I also saw Hidden Figures ❤️ I highly recommend it if you haven't had the opportunity to catch it. It has a great cast and strong performances from strong female leads. I also saw The Great Wall, it was entertaining up to a point but so ridiculous, at least Lu Han❤️ made it worth my time (even though he had a small role in it). All in all I had fun at the cinema.

📽 The trailer for The Beguiled has arrived and it looks intriguing. I want to see it so much. It's got a great cast--Colin Farrell, anyone?-- and I tend to enjoy Sofia Coppola's film.
Infinity War started shooting and I couldn't be happier about it 💕☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️

📺 I binge watch a lot --as you might have guessed it-- and after it came out I devoured the entire first season of The Santa Clarita Diet. I loved it. It's a funny and at times gross show but entertaining nonetheless. Drew Barrymore has to be the cutest zombie ever and Timothy Olyphant does a great job as her conflicted but willing-to-go-along husband. They make a credible couple and their relationship is goals, totally sweet. I also started watching Riverdale and I'm liking it so far. Legion is getting better and Powerless is absolutely hilarious. I'm still watching Shadowhunters and omg, Malec date! I like show Alec better than book Alec and I never thought it would happen. Magnus is awesome and deserves everything good in the world. I caught up with Jane the Virgin only to have my heart broken 😢 I really hated what happened.

📖 My reading challenge is going well, I got twenty-five more books to go and ten more months to finish them.

🐈 Somehow Ghost got fleas, he's been inside the house so we don't know how he caught them. He's had a bath and the vet gave him treatment. Hopefully Bella is free of them. I checked but I worry I missed one or something. Anyways, I've been cleaning from top to bottom just to be safe.

Here have a cat chillin (on top of me) after a nice bath.

🌚 Tomorrow is the posting date for the first fic inspired by art done by yours truly for the SPN Reverse Bang, I was so lucky to be paired with talented writers. Once the fic is up I'll make sure to edit this entry and add a link to it. It's FANTASTIC. If you're into Destiel, angst, the family business (organized crime in this case), family drama, and clueless men falling in love, you might like this one.

🌝 I'm glad to say I'm keeping up with my resolution of leaving feedback on fanworks I enjoy.

🌚 I'm excited about the Merlin Reverse Bang, I've started writing and the ideas are coming easily. And I'm currently sketching my ACBB fix. 25k is no easy feat but I'm determined to finish this year.

That's good that you're anxiety is down and that you're much better now. That is one of the reasons why I have been avoiding reading anything in news, because otherwise I would be up late at night with constant anxiety over the state of the world. I do keep myself informed, but it's only bits and pieces at a time.

I'm honestly so intrigued by The Beguiled. I read up on the original and it's fucked up, but knowing Sofia Coppola she'll do something interesting with the story. Or, at least, make it incredibly pretty, and already just based on the trailer with the Southern Gothic tone I'm all in. Also, I mean, Colin Farrell being in it doesn't hurt, either. ;) My thirst is still strong and you know I'll be going to see it.

Yeah, I do the same, just bit by bit, reading every single negative thing just doesn't help one's mental health.

Hahah I did to, at first I didn't know it was a remake but when I found out I had to know what it was all about, now I kinda want to see it. Yup, definitely will be pretty, honestly I think I'm in love with her aesthetic :D Nope, I'd watch anything as long as he's in it hahahah

I'm still not sure if I want to watch Santa Clara Diet because I'm sort of a pussy when it comes to gross things in movies and tv shows.
I started watching Riverdale, too, and while I still think it's a mix of every teen show of the last few years I actually do like it. Still don't know which one of the Sprouse twins is playing Jughead though. And I really hate that teacher.

I only read like the first three City of Bones books because I couldn't really stand Cassandra Clare's writing still but yes, Alec is so great in the show. I must admit i'm only watching it for him atm. I hate the whole "are they siblings or not" storyline

I was growing tired of the zombie trend but Santa Clarita was a surprise, despite the gross factor it has, it's lighthearted and funny. Hahhahah I only know it's Cole because growing up watching The Suite Life of Zack & Cody and Life on Deck made me develop a crush on him because Cody was my fave xD

I have a love/hate relationship with her writing, I don't think it's extraordinary, but I thank her for creating a character like Magnus <3 I'm also just watching the show for him...Magnus and Izzy. Omg, I roll my eyes so much at Clary--in the book I did too--she's very annoying sometimes. But I think the acting is getting mildly better than on the first season, though the writing is still ridiculous.

I really liked iZombie but that was like the only Zombie show I've ever watched... oh, and also like one episode of Walking Dead but well, I really didn't like it.

Haha, I always watched Zack & Cody, too, because my sisters watched it :D But I also never could tell which one of the Olsen twins was which until they chose different hairstyles :D

Well, I think I don't really like the books because I actually read the FanFiction, which then became City of Bones, and well, I really didn't like that, especially because as soon as her books became famous she acted like Fan Fictions were so evil. Same with 50 Shades of Grey...
But yeah, Alex, Magnus and Izzy are great even though I don't like Izzy's recent story... it makes sense but well, could do without it.
The writing really is weird sometimes I feel like they just roll a dice with the most ridiculous story lines to see which one they should take.

iZombie is great, I think I like the shows/comics/books where zombies are sort of humanized, like Santa Clarita, iZombie or In the Flesh. I gave up on The Walking Dead like two seasons ago xD

Hahaha their hairstyles is the only reason why I can tell the Olsens apart too .

Oh, that must have been interesting, seeing the transition from fanficton to a published work. It wasn't way after I started reading the books that I found out it had been a fanfic first, and by then all traces of it were gone. It was a HP fic, right?

I never read 50 Shades but I did goon an except from the fanfic in an article about the book, it was funny.

I think that's probably why Mary-Kate dyed her hair :D But nowadays I feel like it's getting easier telling them apart because MK has like a pointier face... but I heard that they both were sick and that's why they stay out of the spotlight.

Yeah, it was a HP fic. I think Jace is supposed to be Draco and Clary is Ginny and Simon is Harry. No idea where the others are though. But maybe google can help :D

Yeah, the 50 Shades Fanfic really was funny because I felt like the writing wasn't that good but yeah, if 50 Shades got published maybe there's still hope for me :D
There are a few Twilight Fan Fictions that got published and I once read one (it's called Wallbanger if you want to google it :D) and only after a few chapters I felt llike I read it before and then googled it and found out that it was a Fic once :D

i've been trying to leave lots of comments too! so many people quit writing just because they feel no one cares...

That's great! I know, it might feel like that (I know I've felt it and I have to remind myself I am doing for me) so it's good to encourage writers especially when they're just starting :D

Nope, I definitely saw Simon getting all queasy about it, but apparently Alec is immune to it xD I also love how casual and relaxed he was about it 😀

Glad the anxiety has gone down. That is always great :) I often don't watch the news because it makes me overall really nervous. But most of all, I take time outs from facebook as much as I can. People on there just do your head in too much, really. I most especially avoid the comments because so much hatred from people is just overwhelming.

I AM ABSOLUTELY INTRIGUED WITH BEGUILED!!! And you're most certainly right, what a fantastic casting. It's like all of my favorite people in the same movie. I still haven't started Riverdale. It's been getting mixed reviews so I am weighing it out for myself. I have had a huge crush on Cole Sprouse though so I think I may get a wee bit biased. Need to look into The Santa Clarita Diet as well, I totally forgot all about that.

It was even messing with my sleep because I'd be up wondering what new fresh hell I was going to encounter next time. It was time to take a break. I mostly use messenger to talk with my friends.

Right?! I love the cast so much, and despite the movie's theme it looks beautiful. Can't wait for it to come out. Haha me too, I mostly started watching because of him--I have never read Archie comics. It's entertaining and totally fits in tone with other CW shows. I liked Santa Clarita so much I want season two already!

I have a complicated relationship with Shadowhunters, but I do love Malec and so far this season has not disappointed on that score!

Tell me about it, last season I couldn't stand the acting --it's getting better imo-- and the writing is not much better, but at least it can be entertaining and I like the cast. But yes, Malec is perfect, I think they're handling well their relationship <3 I'm excited about tonight's episode.

Well, I like the original a lot (I'm a big fan of the Southern Gothic genre and it was one of the first I saw), but I know some people find it sort of too weird (and it does have a few questionable moments like a kiss between an adult and a minor). But it's wonderfully atmospheric and strange.

I'm glad to hear that your anxiety is down. Avoiding Facebook is one thing that helps me a lot when I find that I'm getting more anxious than usual. I'm glad your ribs have healed well too! I've heard that broken ribs REALLY hurt and it's something that they can't really do much for except rest and pain relief. Yeowch!

I haven't seen the shows you mentioned but I have seen the trailer for The Santa Clarita Diet. I'll have to check them out. I've been in a TV watching mood lately!

Thanks. I so needed time off from Facebook, I'm mostly using it to keep up with my friends :) Thank you! I don't want to sound like a whiner but yes, I had never been in so much pain, particularly the first few weeks, even sneezing was painful, I do not wish that pain on anyone. And yeah, all you can do is rest, find new ways positions to sleep in and take some Advil when the pain gets to be too much. Healing put me in a better mood xD

Ohhhh I can't recommend it enough, it was great, I finished it in one day. Drew Barrymore is great in it. Haha I watch way too much TV. Sometimes it's hard to keep up with all the shows.

I have to admit I'm mildly obsessed with La La Land as well. Especially City of Stars and A Lovely Night. I have the soundtrack on my phone and listen to it on repeat >_> But it's just sO GOOD. Aww. Poor Ghost. I keep my kitty on flea pills ever other month in the winter & every month in the summer, but she's an outdoor kitty, so its necessary...speaking of, I need to get her pill this week.

We don't know how he got them because he's always been inside and neither Bella or my mom's dogs have fleas. Thankfully the bath and treatment helped, and once he's a month older I can get Ghost on flea pills ☺
