Dear Once Upon a Fic Author,
welcome to my letter post, I'm glad to be participating in an exchange where fairy tales and myths are at the core. I will be happy with whatever you write, as I'm sure you love these stories as much as I do or at least like them enough. So let your muses inspire you!
Likes: AUs, loyalty, friends-to-lovers, friendships (specially the ones that are epic), slow burn, world building, soulmates, bonding, character studies, slice of life, ladies being kick-ass and awesome,reincarnation, first times, mysticism, opposites attract, afterlife, gender themes, royals and monarchy, magic, slash, femslash.
Dislikes: character bashing, non-con, rape, bestiality, water sports, scat, incest (unless it's canon),I'm okay w ith some fluff, but I draw the line where it's all, damsels in distress who can't do anything on their own without the help of a man, misogyny, child abuse (abuse of any type to be honest).
If you want to go the porn route I'm okay with that, just be mindful of my dislikes and we will be okay.
Now onto my requests:
Medea - Euripides
Please, please, please give a Medea who is strong and not crazy. I would also like to know more about her being an enchantress or a priestess of Hecate. Perhaps you could explore and alternate ending, where there's still revenge but no death.
La Belle et la Bête | Beauty and the Beast
I adore Beauty and the Best, I could just about read anything about this story, whether it's about its secondary characters or the titular ones.
Rotkäppchen | Little Red Riding Hood (Fairy Tale)
As with the other stories I've seen and read most of the interpretations that have been done. So don't be scared to explore alternate versions. I would like stories about Little Red defeating the wolf and not falling into his trap. Red being her own hero without the help of the hunter.
Hänsel und Gretel | Hansel and Gretel (Fairy Tale)
Their lives after finding their way back home. Do they ever dream or think about the witch? What do they do with her wealth? Or what if they go back home only to be turned away again by their father's wife.
Cendrillon ou La petite Pantoufle de Verre | Cinderella - Charles Perrault
Oh, I would love something about Cinderella figthing against her step family.
